For prime destinations like Muirfield or Royal County Down, we recommend planning 12-16 months in advance. Do NOT wait to book - golf travel is as popular as ever, and if you want to finally make this journey, you must think ahead. Many courses begin accepting visitor tee times 12-16 months ahead, and peak season dates (May-September) often fill quickly. However, don't be discouraged if you're planning with shorter notice - we can always craft a great trip in any region with less lead time.
-
Peak golf season varies by destination:
UK & Ireland: April through October, with May-September offering longest daylight hours
Spain & Portugal: Year-round golf with peak seasons April-June and September-November
Australia & New Zealand: September through April, with December-February being peak season
